ThermoKool

ThermoKool™

The ThermoKool™ is specially designed to minimise fuel temperature increases inside the tank, reducing fuel loss due to evaporation, by up to 80%.

This is achieved by incorporating a layer of specially formulated insulation between the primary and secondary tanks.  Less evaporation also helps minimise “diesel bug”

For example, in Melbourne, Australia where the temperature throughout the year varies between 0˚C and 38˚C, the fuel in a ThermoKool™ tank is expected to experience a minimum of 20% reduction in peak temperature elevation above ambient when compared to fuel in an uninsulated tank.  This will have significant impact on the loss of fuel due to evaporation and may result in considerable savings each year.

True Secondary Containment

Environmental issues have made the secondary containment as important as the primary containment. The ThermoKool™ is engineered and constructed for maximum protection.  No external bunding required. Internal bunding means no costly on-site construction and maintenance of an external bund.

Safety Testing

All ThermoKool™ tanks are shop fabricated under strict quality control and audit procedures. Each unit is pressure tested at the factory to ensure proper performance in the field.

All penetrations through the top of the tank are in compliance with industry code of practice.

The ThermoKool™ meets international standards for fuel storage

Five Year Warranty

A five-year warranty is offered, providing the tank is installed and maintained in accordance with the industry standards, including de-watering of the primary tank.
